Anqi believe spatial design should be clear in concept, poetic and contain narrative. Spaces have their stories and dialogue to tell. With the background of interior design and architecture, she think interior design can be conceptual like art, spaces are like a container, it carries complex human activities. Spaces are also like places, using architectural volumes to plan and reconstruct spaces, the relationship between interior design and architecture is indispensable. Not only can we consider space from an interior perspective, but we can also utilize the qualities of architecture to think about it. She apply architectural thinking to explore ideas on exhibitions design and spatial design.

She is committed to studying the relationship between space, structure, materials, and is passionate about designing poetic, beautiful and personal spaces to be lived in for people.
She studied at the Royal College of Art, and Bartlett School of Architecture. Prior, she gained a BA Hons in Interior & Spatial design at the University of Arts London, she is an interior designer who is constantly interested at the field of architecture and art. Having worked for More architecture, Aedas, and Hirsch Bedner Associates, she gained design knowledge and practical experience, also developed an interest towards how architecture forms resonates with the qualities of interior design. Anqi is imaginative and perceptive, enjoys seeing/creating/reading about art, spatial design, installation art, and architecture. She is based in China, HK and the UK.
